Testing Included: Amyloid Balance is a blood-based Alzheimer’s biomarker test that evaluates pTau217 and Beta-Amyloid 1-42 and provides a calculated ratio. By evaluating both biomarkers together, Amyloid Balance provides a more comprehensive picture of the patient’s Alzheimer’s-related biomarker profile. These biomarkers are associated with Alzheimer’s disease-related amyloid pathology. The test can provide healthcare providers with additional biological information to consider as part of a broader clinical evaluation of patients with cognitive concerns.

APOE Insight evaluates specific genetic variants of the APOE gene, including APOE2, APOE3, and APOE4. Certain APOE variants, particularly APOE4, are associated with an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. APOE testing does not diagnose Alzheimer’s disease or determine whether an individual will develop the disease, but it can provide additional information about an individual’s genetic risk profile.
