Description: The Arthritis Panel is a comprehensive blood testing package designed to help identify common causes of joint pain, inflammation, stiffness, and autoimmune-related arthritis. This panel evaluates key markers of inflammation, immune system activity, metabolic function, and blood health to support early detection and monitoring of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and connective tissue disorders.
Included tests:
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) — Assesses kidney and liver function, electrolytes, and overall metabolic balance, which can influence inflammation and joint health.
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) — Measures red and white blood cells and platelets to detect anemia, infection, or systemic inflammation.
- C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Quantitative — A sensitive marker of inflammation often elevated in active arthritis or autoimmune disease.
- Rheumatoid Factor (RF) — Helps identify rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions.
- Sedimentation Rate (ESR) — Measures inflammation and can indicate autoimmune or inflammatory activity.
- Uric Acid — Elevated levels may indicate gout or other metabolic causes of joint pain.
- ANA Screen, IFA with Reflex to Titer and Pattern — Screens for antinuclear antibodies associated with autoimmune diseases such as lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, and mixed connective tissue disorders. Reflex testing provides detailed patterns and titers when positive.
