Fasting Required: Yes 10-12 hours

Specimen: Blood
Results: Average turn around is 5-7 days. Vitamin A is a send out test - set up Mon - Sat, then 2-4 days average processing time

Special Instructions: No foods containing vitamin A should be ingested in the previous 48 hours by patients older than six months. For those younger than six months, the period is 24 hours.
