Description: Nutrition has a global influence on well-being. Micronutrient status, a reflection of one's dietary intake, is a critical piece of this puzzle. Deficiencies today can create the potential for long-term chronic disease and illness, affecting quality of life over time. Our comprehensive nutrient analysis measures functional deficiencies at a cellular level, assessing how the body utilizes 31 vitamins, minerals, amino/fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites. It identifies the micronutrients needed to enable the production of enzymes and hormones for good health.

Before the introduction of micronutrient testing, many diagnoses and risk assessments relied on clinical observations and measurements of static nutrient levels in blood serum. However, static serum levels do not accurately represent cell metabolism and nutrient utilization. Our functional intracellular status of micronutrients involved in cell metabolism is evaluated by manipulating individual micronutrients in a patented chemically defined control media. This is followed by mitogenic stimulation and measurement of DNA synthesis.
