Description: Our daily lives expose us to hundreds of toxic chemicals from food, water, household products, personal care products, plastics, and air pollution. Exposure to these environmental toxicants wreak havoc on normal metabolic processes that lead to immune dysfunction, neurological disorders, endocrine disruption, certain types of cancer, and beyond. The TOXDetect Profile® is designed to pinpoint your environmental toxicant exposure. This profile measures 27 metabolites utilizing state-of-the-art LC-MS/MS technology, guaranteeing unmatched accuracy and reliability – all from a single urine sample.
Chemical Classes:

Pesticides Used in agriculture, public health, and households to protect crops, control disease-carrying insects, and manage pest. Exposure occurs through inhalation on contaminated air, consumption of contaminated food and water, or contact with contaminated soil.

Phthalates "Everywhere chemicals" used in products encountering plastics during manufacturing, packaging, or transportation. Exposure to these endocrine disruptors is ubiquitous. They are found in common items including toys, food packaging, shampoo, and vinyl flooring.

Bisphenol S Bisphenols, commonly used in plastics and resins found in various consumer items such as food containers, water bottles, dental sealants, and cosmetics. While some companies offer "BPA-Free" products, alternative bisphenols like BPS have raised concerns about similar potential health effects.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) readily evaporate into the air and exposure occur through household and beauty products, building materials, and cigarette smoke, vehicle emissions, industrial processes, construction, agricultural activities, as well as paints, coatings, and sealants. Includes commons VOCs like Vinyl Chloride, Xylene, Styrene, and Benzene.

Parabens are common preservatives in cosmetics, personal care products, pharmaceuticals, and food: Butylparaben (BuP), Methylparaben (MeP), Ethylparaben (EtP), Propylparaben (PrP)

Other included toxicants that can cause acute or chronic toxic overload when absorbed, inhaled or ingested. • Oxybenzone (OBZ): A UVA protector used in sunscreens and personal care products. • Bisphenol A (BPA): Added to our existing Bisphenol S (BPS) coverage for a more complete bisphenol assessment. • Atrazine Mercapturate (AM): A metabolite of atrazine, one of the most widely used pesticides in the U.S. • Glyphosate (GLY): The most widely used herbicide worldwide—now included in TOXDetect, with results reported separately.
